Minimise your waste with a safety razor. The only bit that needs replacing is the stainless-steel blade. Unlike the heads on plastic razors, the razor blade in a safety razor can easily be sorted and recycled. It is also much cheaper in the long run. The razor blades are double-sided, making it possible to use both sides of the razor. The razor blades should be replaced after 5-10 shaves to maintain sharpness. To prolong the sharpness of a blade, you can wipe the razor with a towel after use.

The handle on our razor is designed to ensure a good grip during shaving. The weight of the razor is balanced to perfection, making shaving incredibly easy without having to press down on the skin. For the best shave, we recommend an angle of approx. 30° between the blade and the skin. Do not stretch the skin too much, and make as few strokes as possible. Practice makes perfect. You won’t regret switching to a safety razor.

Instructions for Using a Safety Razor

A safety razor consists of 4 parts. The upper part of the head, a razor blade, the lower part of the head and the handle. Separate the parts and place them as shown in the illustration below. Place the blade between the two sections of the razor’s head, and screw it tight with the handle. Be sure to turn the bottom of the head so that the ‘wavy part’ faces the blade.

Instructions for the Best Shave

• Make sure you exfoliate the skin before shaving. This removes dead skin cells and the hairs rise from the skin. A soap bag containing a bar of shaving soap is ideal for this purpose. The soap bag gently exfoliates the skin, while producing a thick lather.
• Always shave on wet, warm skin, let the razor do the work, and give yourself plenty of time.
• Apply shaving soap on the area to be shaved. With soapy lather on the skin, the blade will glide easily over the skin. It is also easy to keep track of how far you have got. Shaving soap also adds generous moisture and other nourishing ingredients to the skin. A soap bag is perfect for applying shaving soap.
• Always make sure that the razor blade is sharp and that the safety razor is screwed tightly together. A blunt blade can pull at your skin and increase the risk of accident. Rinse the safety razor after each ‘stroke’ to remove hair and soap residue.
• If you have sensitive skin, you should shave downwards and not upwards. This is gentler.
• After shaving, moisturise your skin with an oil, cream or aftershave.
• Remember to wipe the razor after use to extend the service life and sharpness of the razor blade.

The safety razor is manufactured in China near Hong Kong. The factory employs 28 workers who manufacture razors and shaving accessories. The manufacture of this product does not result in any plastic waste, and the employees work in decent conditions, which are regularly checked.
